We are a family friendly FA Accredited community based youth football club run to provide facilities and competitive football for boys and girls aged from 5 years and upwards.
Byron Red Star FC was formed in 1968 by Norman French and has been around for over 50 years. We are proud of our Club and it’s achievements over the years. Past players who have gone on to play professional include Clive Allen, Steve McKenzie and more recently Jonjo Shelvey who is currently playing in the Premier league.

Our club is built on a foundation of passion, hard work, and a love of the game. Our talented and experienced coaches are dedicated to developing the skills of our players and helping them reach their full potential. We believe in a holistic approach to player development, encompassing technical skills, tactical knowledge, and mental and physical toughness.

At Byron Red Star FC, we are committed to providing an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all of our players. From our youngest players to our most experienced, we encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude. Our teams play in the Echo Junior football, the Brentwood Community Football alliance and the Essex County Girls leagues, which are the largest and most well-known youth leagues in Essex and the East London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Havering and the greater part of Hackney, giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills and represent the club with pride.
