Under 6's Development squads
The Byron Red Star under 6's Development squad is where players get their first taste of football, learning the early techniques, skills and attitudes required to start playing matches when they get to Under 7s.

We are currently looking for players and volunteers to work alongside the current DBS cleared coaches to set up teams ready for when they join a league at U7.
(Please note that recruitment normally takes place between September and December)

Our players generally live in and around the Hornchurch, Gidea Park and Harold Wood area in the London Borough of Havering but we also attract players from outside of this area due to the success of our teams and players being signed up to professional academies.
​
This season our teams will play in the Echo, Brentwood & the Essex County Girls league and will be placed in a division that best matches the ability levels of the boys and girls to improve their understanding and development. In addition to this we would also enter a number of tournaments (2-5 per season) where there would be up to 50 teams present. At these tournaments, including our own Byron tournament, on average we play about 5-6 games.
