Liam battrum got them started with a well taken goal after great work from Lennie Nicholson on the right. Owen Hutchinson grabbed another straight after when he skipped around 2 players and slotted the ball into the bottom left hand corner. Tekkers got a goal back and were back in the game. But just before half time battrum finished off another good Byron passing move to put the home team 3-1 up at the break.
Into the 2nd half and Byron's tails were up, Louie king snatched the ball back from the opposition in his own half and played a great pass into Leo leborgne who slid it past the keeper with ease. Tekkers put some pressure on the Byron goal once again when they went clean through on byrons goal and scored, they kept the pressure up but George London kept focused and made a fine double save to keep the home team in front. With 5 minutes to go Battrum picked the ball up on the right and curled the ball straight into the top corner to complete his hat-trick and give Byron the much deserved 3 points.
