The Eagles under-8’s got off to a strong start and took the lead after five minutes with a great passing move involving Liam Battrum and Leo Leborgne being finished off in style by Lennie Nicholson at the far post.

The visitors continued to press and doubled their lead with a great individual effort from Owen Hutchinson to grab his first of the new season. Chibuzo Okoli played a great one two with Battrum and slotted away the third just before the break.

Into the second half, Byron continued to press and got there rewards with another well taken goal from Hutchinson as he rounded the keeper to grab his brace. Louie King picked up the ball late in the game and ran half of the pitch only to hit the post but followed it in well and scored off his own rebound to make it 5-0 and grab the points for his side.
