The penultimate event of our 50th anniversary scheduled activities went off with a bang with hundreds of past and present players, coaches and parents turned out to pay respect to the main man himself Norman French.
It was great to see so many of the old Byron players turn up and reminisce of the past glory days and look forward to seeing the next generation of Byron players following in their footsteps.
With a guest appearance from a member of the FA to award Norman his order of merit certificate and badge in recognition of the work within youth football.
